We all went there for the first time yesterday with friends for Sunday lunch.

It was FANTASTIC!!!

It’s about time that Paphos had a restaurant that can delivery this class of food, service and atmosphere at very reasonable prices.

I especially would like to say WELL DONE to Peter the head waiter for his training and guidance skills to his staff, it was a great change to be served by Eastern Europeans with a smile, finesse and respect to their customers.

We will defiantly be going back!!!

So, where is it? None of the advertising actually seems to say. And what do you class as reasonable as that is subjective. If you are on Cypriot wages is it reasonable, or is it only reasonable if you have a decent income?

Having read my questions back I sound a bit in your face. Don't mean to. I am genuinely interested.

Chillingtons is behind the row of estate agents at the st georges hotel crossroads (near UKCA) they share a large carpark behind, which is accessed from the road up the hill which heads to chlorakas.

I'm desparately trying to find out where they get their "snow-king crab claws"... they are the best thing i've ever tasted!

The Cyprus Sunday Mail magazine 'Seven' had a very bad review on Chillington's last Sunday.
The only things the reviewer liked was the menu, the wine and the nice, polite staff.
The last para " What I find baffling is the high level of care and cost that has gone into making this venue. I do hope Chillingtons manage to find a quality chef worthy of its menu. It's one that's well worth keeping, but, sadly, at present, it is one full of empty promises."
I can't comment, as we have never been there - anyone else eaten there recently?

Like you Ruth, I would be interested to hear someone's opinion who has recently dined there.

Molly we have just returned from Chillingtons the Easter menu was brill I couldn't fault the food /service / live music at the end of our meal they came with an Easter egg basket with a red dyed egg surrounded by little choc eggs a real nice touch we even got drinks on the house. All 7 of us were very happy bunnies so to speak. Marj
