:greetings Seven-times Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher will come out of retirement to race for Mercedes next year, BBC Sport understands.
The German, who will be 41 on 3 January, has signed a contract and the deal will be announced imminently.
Schumacher will partner compatriot Nico Rosberg in the team that won the drivers' and constructors' titles in 2009 in its former guise as Brawn. :manic :manic

Should make for an even more interesting season - am I the only one that hopes Schumacher gives young upstarts Button and Hamilton a real run for their money??

Yep, should be really good F1 in 2010, let's hope the 'new spec' 2010 cars are all a 'muchness' .Full fuel tanks for the race next year and only pit stops for tyre changes!!!! The new car testing starts Feb 1st.
