The Champions League Semi Finals are upon us. Watched the Scousers against The Cocney Boys last night. Not a spectacle and still anybody's game in my opinion.
Good Luck to Man United tonight, won't be as easy as some of the press suggest unless of course United are on fire.
Good Luck anyway.
Gary

dp i'm very dissapointed in you thinking that chelsea are a cockney team,
cockney teams come from east london not west london.

by the way do youknow why they call people from east london cockney's?

Sorry Chas don't know what a cockney is really, born within the sound of Bow bell or something.
Look, to me a cheeky Northern Monkey, if you are from south of Luton you are cockney !
Gary

Very good Gary, here's the Wikipedia explanation of a Cockney:

The term cockney has both geographical and linguistic associations.Geographically and culturally, it often refers to working class Londoners, particularly those in the East End. Linguistically, it refers to the form of English spoken by this group.

According to traditional definition, a "true" cockney is someone born within earshot of the Bow Bells, i.e. the bells of St Mary-le-Bow church in Cheapside in the City of London (which is not itself in the East End). However, the bells were silent from the outbreak of World War II until 1961.[1] Also, as the general din in London has increased, the area in which the bells can be heard has contracted. Formerly it included the City, Clerkenwell, Finsbury, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Stepney, Bethnal Green, Limehouse, Mile End, Wapping, Whitechapel, Shadwell, Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays, and The Borough, although according to the legend of Dick Whittington the bells could also be heard from as far away as Highgate.[2] The association with Cockney and the East End in the public imagination may be due to many people assuming that Bow Bells are to be found in the district of Bow, rather than the lesser known St Mary-le-Bow church.

Man Utd - Barca second leg tonight - who's everyone backing?

Would love to see the Mancs knocked out personally, never got the whole "support English clubs in Europe" thing.....

I thought they were a bit lucky - some of Barca's play was different class, but they just lacked the cutting edge, and to be fair Brown and Ferdinand defenced very well.

Good chance to compare probably the 2 best players in the world at the moment too (Ronaldo and Messi) and for me Messi came out well ahead, the way he glides past players is just awesome....

Chelsea - Liverpool tonight - Chelsea favourites with the away goal, but I've an inkling for the scousers...

Chelsea v Liverpool. I do not get excited with Chelsea's football. It is solid but not spectacular. Liverpool do excite me and I think some of their football is spectacular, however, I think some Liverpool fans are getting a superiority complex, having won the cup 5 times and at games it is rammed down your throat.
For me Chelski will do it tonight. I wonder what kind of incentive Roman has them on to take him to Moscow.
Well, as they say in Russia.......Moscow !

there are several teams which i can not abide, west ham for still being in the premiership, villa for tapping up merson, but by far the worst in my eyes liverpool :tickedoff , probably because of their domination when i was in school not helped by them nabbing sounness/hodgson and johnston off us, certainly made worse by their illegal tapping up of ziege.

my point is i hope they get beat tonight i am not a fan of chelsea but i want them to beat liverpool :celebrate

thats right i do not hate sunderland or newcastle (i want them to do well just not as well as boro  )
