hi Alan

my father in law wants to do a bit of sea fishing while he's out here in may... not the deep-sea or boat kind, just standing on a jetty, with a coolbox of Keo!

are there any local by-laws he has to worry about? does he need a rod licence? if so how much and where from?

I think Alan is away for a while.
But I am sure you dont need any permit
to stand on the shore, my wifes father was over last summer
and I got him a cyprus fishing license.
The woman told me he only needs it for the dams ...
