It's official as reported on Sky News, My club has the loudest fans in the country. Just think how loud we'd be if we could score some goals. :D
We were given a close run for our money by Spurs then Man City.
Happy Days, Gary

Resident Mackem appears as if by magic ......... too right he does, wouldn't you ?
It's what the games all about, as for how long has Keane got..... to be honest if it was down to me he'd go now.
He's making the wrong calls too often, his choice of buys are wierd, he can't attract anyone to play for him and there are nasty rumours circulating up here about him which will not attract players.
He may one day turn out to be a fantastic manager, I hope he does, but right now we ain't got a lot of time have we ?
And when he does go I bet your'e on the keyboard quicker than you can say "We're a big club we deserve better"
Mackem and Proud, Regards Gary

Don't need no pills mate. I think our stadium is brill, all lovely and red and white and class and aerodynamic not like Sid James all grey and dull and lop sided and full of ****

Villa park is a monstrous carbuncle when compared to the dramatic edifice that is St James' Park!

Dominating the skyline for miles around, a beacon, a cathedral on the hill to all visitors to our fine city! :D

Better than something made out of meccano on an old slag heap anyway!

Mackems blatantly bricking it now like, pretending like they're not bothered, but even they understand the simple equation:

Keegan + Newcastle = SUCCESS!

The good times are back! :D

Ok CF and all the other toonies on here, let me be honest with you, if you are real football fans and you are excited by the appointment then I'm genuinely pleased for you cos I know there's no other buzz like the buzz your club can give you.
I haven't come on slagging the move nor am I bricking it. I'm being honest and I do not know if it is a good move or not. I know the circus will be back in toon and every club gets a lift when a new boss comes in even Fat Sam managed that but for the long run we'll just have to wait and see.
Me, I'm more concerned with my own club and gutted that it looks like our main transfer target has gone elsewhere (where have I heard that before)
I don't like Newcastle United full stop. I do like KK and I have respect for him like I do for Sir Bobby. KK is a good man, whether he can still be a good manager, who knows? not me.
Regards Gary

Gary,

Don't worry about CF, he's just not stopped smiling since the news broke yesterday & then on top of that the TOON beat Stoke 4-1 & as it was a clear blue sky today plus he's recovering from Man-Flu, as given him a fresh look on life after being so down for the past 6 months under BSA

You're right in your point that a true fan gets a real buzz from supporting their team & I'm no different or less passionate than anyone else but I would go so far as to say I hated Sunderland but I also wouldn't say I liked them either, I'd say I just love it when you get beaten  but that goes for the other 18 teams in the league too, so don't be downhearted if you're out numbered on here mate, you just need to get more makems signed up, if only for the banter

Now I know you're not over in Cyprus until 09 but if you can co-inside your moving with a derby, then that would be good

Thanks for that Pete,
I don't need more Mackems and I promise I'll do my best to keep you skunks entertained ! ( Everyone knows one Mackem's as good as ten Geordies !)
My passion is my club and right now me,my family and most of my mates are fully occupied, like besotted, with finding out who the hell we are going to get in during this transfer window. What's going on at the mo in Skunksville is just a bit of an irritant really.
(Skunksville  that should get an interesting response,)
I'm always honest when it comes to footy and I accept we are in the clart and need to get it sorted and not every household in the North East is excited about KK you know, some are more concerned about the team for Spurs this Saturday!
Keep the Banter coming lads,
Gary

Did someone mention a Cathedral and beacon for the area. I always thought that in that part of the world they were referring to the DHSS office!!!
