Well it's hopefully a load of rubbish but the crack up here is that KK wants to sign Kenwyne JONES !
Seems he wants rid of Viduka and Martins and they will not be at Sid James come next season.
KK is supposed to have told Ashley he must have JONES to work alongside Owen. :shock:
KK is also after Chimbonda from Spurs.

Well Jones is like a Premiership player in a Sunday league team, so he does stand out :lol:

Not sure I'd swap him for Martins, maybe get shot of Owen & buy Jones :wink:

This would be the Kenwyn Jones who was at Southampton - couldn't get into their team - went to Stoke on loan - couldn't get in their team - got sent back to Saints ............

Now he's a premier league superstar.

Not really JB, he just looks good playing for the Makem, but that's not hard really :lol: any Sunday league player would stand out at the 'Stade de Fright' these days :roll:

Don't be silly, He is a class act. I've watched footballers in the flesh, not on the telly, and know a good one when I see one and he is a good one.
I thought I was doing you lot a favour over there by keeping you posted on the rumour mill so don't knock it 8)

I know DP but can you honestly think we'd be looking at getting Jones into SJP :roll:

I think we have more problems in defense & midfield at present, although I have seen him play & he's not too bad but reminds me a lot of Shola :wink:

KK@SJP needs a more solid backline and some creative midfielders to supply the front. Barry Robsons your man for £3m. Youll get a bargain.

Well the papers are saying that KK is going for the following players:

Berbatov - £35m
Deco - £15m
Richards - £5-8m
Campbell - £2

Also rumours of chasing: Bridge, Carrick, Bentley, Van Buyten, Robson :o

I'd just luv it if we got any of those, especially the top 4 :lol:

Haven't heard the Kenwyne Jones rumour, but wouldn't be disappointed - looks a canny player. Can't see you letting him go though, unless you go down, in which case you won't have much choice....

Latest rumour is Dean Ashton on his way to the toon in a 10 million package with Shola going the other way - good deal if he could stay fit!

Van Buyten on loan looks possible, as does Robson for a small fee - the big business will likely have to wait until the summer IMO.

I watched Dean Ashton in West Ham's last home game and to be honest he was on fire..... very impressive.
Of course, we may well go down and like you say if we do JONES will be off mind Keane was quoted in the papers at the weekend saying JONES is worth £40m !
He might have been on the sherry mind,

I don't think even Keano is that deluded - was probably just talking in terms of his value to the team - they reckon getting relegated costs over 40 million in lost revenue, so if he scores the goals that keep you up then in a way I suppose he is worth that much!

Seems a similar sort of player to Drogba, and he went for 24 million!
