Same place? Same time? Or is it a secret? Ssssssssssh.

I'm available. As long as 5 euros takes me off CF's hit list

It's all hush hush now as we have too many players. So just don't mention it.
I will be at the secret location at approximately secret-o-clock. I'll see yo there if you can find it!

The first rule of PP footy is you DO NOT talk about PP footy..... 8-)

Not sure what's happened to Geoff, but I'm assuming it's booked for the normal time. I'm going to take time out this week to rest my dodgy ankle, but there should still easily be enough players with Gary, Terry et al all turning up....

The first 10 minutes were VERY hard. We just sat on the ground, looking at the floor, praying for a leader to come along and inspire us. With out leadership, we had no direction. Until Geoff stood up to the plate with ill fitting vests, which seemed to get people on their feet.

It is not something I would care to experience again.

Having said that, there were 14 again and it was a decent match.

Vest? That wasn't a vest, it was a straightjacket, especially if you're slightly too short for your weight as I am! Good fun though, and seems far less painful today than last time :)

Was good for me until i ran into Mr Strong and my left side ribs are still causing me considerable bother.

Too many people to enjoy it as much as before though - can't win on the numbers it would seem !!

If the numbers stay up (we will probably be down to 8 next week), then we should probaBly just do rolling subs. 5 mins off, keeps it fresh.

It's alright for you - having more people out there just means more targets for your howitzers - some of us like time and space to express ourselves!

Haha - I'll have you know, I only got Dean last night, and he proceeded to get me straight back.

I must point out, that these are not aimed at anyone, they are random shots at goal. I will cry 'duck' from now on.

As for the skill, I keep practising and so far I can do a combination of 3 keepy uppies. I thought that was quite good myself.

If the numbers are a big issue, then just adopt the 'if you miss a week, then you aren't guaranteed a game the following week' approach. However, I'm sure we will be scrapping around for numbers soon enough. Seems that the weekly injury culls are enough to keep it reasonable.

If we could consistently get 14-16 players it would be worth looking into booking one of the big pitches and playing 7's on it....

I'm sure Joe Kinnear said something along those lines whilst he was still at the helm

Sunday is a bit of a big day!
