Why so many celebrities have died in 2016

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36108133

This may explain it.

Well that article is enlightening.

I thought it was going to explain WHY they have died.

Regardless articles (eg some people behind with own agenda) - it must be taken as IMHO kind.

Nobody knows why this or that year is sad more or less.

To be honest, most of celebrity deaths are over 60... Things health wise can start going awry after that age for some....much worse cancer will affect one in two of us...and your body is less able to shake it off when older...by 2030 they believe everyone will survive cancer..but not today. I've personally defied the odds against me...

I do heave a sigh at this ever long list of celebs I grew up with meeting their maker, but most were older than me...and it sadly happens...and more will die..that's life...Paul McCartney is 73, Mick Jagger is 75...Vera Lynn is 99....  ...but importantly they leave a mark and a legacy of fun or entertainment and music which will often be repeated...the one I miss greatly as I followed her in Liverpool in the early years was Cilla Black.

I watched a great programme recently called 'Great canal journeys' with husband and wife celebs Timothy West and Prunella Scales who is suffering with dementia...remembering her in Fawlty Towers is very different to how she is today...we forget easily everyone is getting much older and often with ill health...

These celebs wether we loved or loathed are IMO making some of us feel vulnerable ( at the same time we lose our own friends and family ) and the realisation that it eventually comes to all of us...Some of course far sooner than it should...
