Yes it has and yes it does  You were too quick to comment before I noticed my mistake and changed it.

I have however left the heading in your first reply to save face :bearhug

Does it have planning permission? I believe the Annassa hasn't!

The area desperately needs modern affordable hotel facilities

The Anassa is of course very luxurious but very expensive, but there is nothing in-between it and the rest of the accommodation in the area. Most of the other hotels in the area are well past their sell by date -quaint to an extent, but badly/ severely dated .

There are lots of self catering apartments calling themselves hotels, but modern 4 star hotels that are a feature of every modern resort are severely lacking in the Latsi and Polis. Hotels with disabled access are the norm these days, Polis has only one facility that specifically caters for staying guests - I assume this latest hotel will have all these facilities ?

It's been built in a ideal spot- lovely views over over the Akamas without actually encroaching on it, and a short stroll out of Latsi itself - it has the potential to do very well

It has indeed been built in an ideal location, although I do think it encroaches on the environment, the main building is just too high...and simply not in keeping with the area...Hopefully it will not be all inclusive and actually provide a source of income to the area...and I think the disabled hotel, C&N, in Polis is probably unique on the island! Perhaps I am just being selfish, but I would hate to see the area overdeveloped....it retains the charm of an older Cyprus....something to be protected and cherished...not concreted over as has happened elsewhere.

Just back from a two night stay in the lovely Droushia Heights Hotel. Great service and accomodation. Had a look at the Hotel that is mentioned and must say it looks very nice. Should do the area proud.
