We moved here just under a year ago and there were 3 English Language Newspapers with
up to date Cyprus news.
These were Cyprus Mail, Famagusta Gazette, Cyprus Weekly.
Cyprus Weekly is no more.
Famagusta Gazette is now The Travel Gazette and does not appear to carry up-to-date local news.
Leaves the Cyprus Mail - which is a good publication but it never covered every item in full.
Surely there is room for more than one in the Market?
Business opportunity for someone?
Amos.

Countless newspapers and magazines have come and gone over the years Amos, the market just isn't big enough for more publications, given the limited number of English speakers. More so as paper news is on a long-term decline globally.

In Paphos we have the freebie Paphos Post once a month, which is good, but mostly ads.

I get most of my daily news from here: http://www.newsincyprus.com and find it more than adequate. Lloyd

Noted many thanks.
I have seen the Paphos Post in the local kiosk, I will buy a copy and have a look.
Thanks too for the link - looks quite useful.
Amos.

Just to clarify Amos, many outlets supply the Paphos Post free, but some kiosks and news-type outlets make a nominal charge for it, maybe €1. The Paphos Post is excellent for finding local goods, services and tradesmen.
