In the last 40 minutes of so there have been at least eight large waterspouts just off the coast between Paphos and the Akamas.

Did anyone else see them?

You are welcome. The first two pictures are mine and look to have been downloaded from the Cyprus Mail. The third one looks like an older photo as, due to the strength of the wind offshore yesterday the spouts were all angling down and to the right. Still impressive to see though.

Another forum member sent it to me..didn't say if it was recent or not, just that it was a water 'sprite' off Peyia
