I am officially registered for tax here as retired. My question is could I buy a vehicle duty free then? The reason I ask is there are some good bargains going from the bases and if I can get one at a fraction of the cost, why not. I know if I decided to sell it there could be problems, but unless I end up with a really bad deal, I won't be planning on selling it.
