For thousands of years, prophets around the world have predicted the end of days. More than one has suggested the apocalypse is fast-approaching. What took it so long? There are food shortages, the greatest economic crisis since 1929, floods, soggy crops, political unrest, Unemployment reaches all-time highs, stabbings and shootings, kids starving, muggings, theft just to name but a few. 60” high-definition TVs, rap, drugs, a lawless attitude, feral kids, while society has lounged back, a Latte in one hand, a television remote control in the other absentmindedly scrolled through the channels watching soap operas, strictly, Master Chef and repeats while the world has moved on. We have selfish shoppers, no masks, nobody cares and a government running round like chlorinated American chicken. Eventually, society turned off the television, might just as well; there was never anything on, anyway. Now the French are holding us to ransom We are on the brink of self-destruction: Wake up and smell the decay! Is Society missing the bigger picture! To all those that want to come to our shores (if you can) ask Mr macron Welcome to Britain to what is left of our way of life. Will the last Brit out please switch off the light. IW alias LV |
