At Holitec we are expanding! – we will require 1st line support operatives plus 2nd line operatives to support our growing customer base to support our broadband and IPTV customers.

We are looking for qualified support personnel to provide telephone support to our customers. Must be able to speak English as a primary language. Russian and greek a plus. Ideally, you will have knowledge of wide area networking, gained in a large organisation, and an ability to diagnose problems from switching the plug on to more advanced knowledge like email settings, browser optimisation and help with various products and software (mainly Microsoft).

Essential qualities 1st line support:-

Microsoft operating systems and browsers
Firefox/Opera/Google Chrome
Outlook/Thunderbird email clients
VPN’s such as My Private network/VPN UK/Focus etc
Basic router settings such as TP-LINK/DLINK etc
CYTA Speedtouch modems.
Basic routeros training will be provided.
Linux STB (such as Brutus) – not essential
Ability to schedule our engineers for on-site visits - ie geography knowlege where places are!


2nd line support essentials in addition to above-

Bourne shell/vi/postfix/Open exchange.
VLC server/ Netup would be nice
Ideally Mikrotik/Cisco routerOS advanced level.
Ideally a qualification like HND/Degree in computer studies or Microsoft Certified.
Must have experience of a large organisation networking and support.

Hours will be variable, we have to cover from 8am to 10pm 7 Days/52 weeks, but it can be done from home. May be part-time or full time and job sharing is possible.
Employment on weekly rotas, we are a flexible employer, plus free internet and connection for employees, including the IPTV service.
