 Post subject: Outrageous bank charges

Used a bank of Cyprus atm the other day only to find when I checked my online bank statement in the uk I had been charged the princely sum of £8.64 for the privilege. Surely this can't be right as laiki bank didn't charge anything at all...... :tickedoff

Can I just clarify - whilst you were in UK, you went online to BOC website to check your balance - and you believe you were charge £8.64 for the privilege?
That doesn't sound right at all.

The way I read it was that he used a UK card in a BoC ATM and got charged

Who's right??

If I use my UK debit card in a BOC machine the BOC don't charge me at all. I assume therefore that the charge you mention has been levied by your UK bank.
