What, please, is the 'drill' for seeing a GESY GP? I gather one has to register with a chosen GP? But are the GPs in public hospitals? and/or in hitherto private hospitals? And how does the appointment procedure work? Thanks |

Having registered with your Personal Doctor, who may have their own office or have an office in a private clinic or be based at the hospital depending on which doctor you have registered with (procedure explained in detail in previous questions you have asked) you telephone your Personal Doctor to make the appointment. Turn up for the appointment, take a seat and the doctor will see you in due course. Do not knock on the door of the doctor's office or try to enter the room when the door opens. Your name will be called when the doctor is ready to see you. |
