Noticed this morning that the Coral Sunset in Coral Bay has a 'business for sale' sign up...BIG place...any bets on what sort of restaurant it will be

Hopefully, it will be the new "Macumba Club". Great memories of our times in there a few years ago.

Price is over 1 million - the place is always empty and not particularly busy in the summer!

This place has been for sale for ages. It was advertised back in July 2016 ! As others have already pointed out they are asking €1 Million just for the 'leasehold', so there will be monthly rent to pay on top. As Neil correctly pointed out, a huge flight of stairs is the 'kiss of death' for any bar. If you bought this place you'd never recover your initial investment.
Agreement to use the Chinese lift can be withdrawn at any time.

1 million good will ? The greedy little buggers need there brains tested. So recently when has coral bay been busy enough to warrant such a price, another place to lie empty and gather dust.

Goodwill value of a business in the UK is usually under normal circumstances between 3 and 5 times its annual profits..Mmmmm,it may be different here.
