The first day of warm winds is always a good sign , I know its a bit early to get
confident and we will get more rain before the season starts , but warm wind tells me it will change soon.
:congrats

Yes, rain is forecast the next few days.
I see the current winds as the first of the "shamal", which preceed the summer season,
particularily mainland middle east/desert regions.

checking Windy web site... the wind is coming from Syria, so the dust is not from Sahara :(

Well that was a bit 'blowy' last night (and still blowing this morning)
Spent the last half hour recovering things from the pool

Strong winds in the Derbyshire Peak District this morning, two houses opposite have lost some ridge tiles, other than that the weather is mild for February Hardly any snow so far.
Looking forward to May when we will be over again and meeting up with friends in Paphos.

I know that this isn't Cyprus but 50 years ago Feb 69 I was on a resettlement course at Catterick Garrison when I was back home and dropped off at the lane leading up to Val's (my wife) parents, you could just see the fence posts sticking out of the snow. Now the weather is gorgeous with forecasts in the mid to high teens this coming weekend. Still looking forward to May though.
