Royal Mail crazy prices

Last week I had to send a 1 page document to my son for signature and return to me
I sent it Registered and Signed for..€2.75
He returned the document today from the UK, Registered and signed for £8.90 :doh

I have just had to send some important documents to the UK. Rather than trust the normal post I went to the post office yesterday morning and sent them by DHL.

Having just checked the tracking I can see that they are now out for delivery!

That seems like pretty decent service to me. Not the cheapest I grant you (€30) but if you are in a hurry, just get to the main post office before 11:00 and your post will be off on a plane the same day!
