Catherine has been living in Cyprus with her husband for just under two years. Before moving here she worked for the fire service and prior to that, as a teacher..
Catherine has always wanted to be able to sing but felt she lacked the ability and confidence. Whilst terrified by the prospect of performing in front of a live audience, she relishes the opportunity of working with a professional coach in order to acquire new skills and develop her confidence.

This has been a great experience and week by week I feel I’m gradually developing a bit more confidence. Week 1 I couldn’t prevent my legs from trembling as I took to the stage! What’s struck me the most is the support and sense of camaraderie from my vocal coach, Stevie, my fellow contestants and Oksana. You can really see everyone developing week by week and we’re all very supportive of one another, which for me, has made this competition so enjoyable. Let us all continue to enjoy the journey and hopefully, in the process, manage to entertain the Paphos People!
