Paliomonastiro Family Restaurant presents a fabulous real thing show: an evening of Motown, Soul, Pop, Reggae, R&B, Funk, Dance Club and Salsa. Raphael will perform his own music and his own adaption of covers. His Billboard Hit With Every Beat of Your Heart and new song, Better Friendz Than Lovaz, written, produced and performed by Raphael Tate, in collaboration with Oytun Ersan on bass and Davey Woodford on lead guitar. An excellent evening awaits you.
Raphael Orlando Tate (born February 18, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and bandleader. His debut single “With Every Beat of My Heart” (released in late 2017) peaked at number 25 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs in America. Raphael grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland with 10 siblings. Raphael’s musicality originated from his religious family background. He was inspired early on by his father Robert and his mother Patricia who lead worship services in their local network of churches. His father also played saxophone and sang professionally for R&B groups before devoting himself to the church as an assistant pastor. Music performance, evolved into Raphael's greatest passion. He joined marching band in high school, and learned how to read, write, arrange, and compose music. He started out as a percussionist and continued on to learn the tuba/sousaphone. Raphael excelled rapidly on the tuba. He accepted a music scholarship to attend Morgan State University in Baltimore County, Maryland. During this period, he was featured in the (2002) film Head of State performing with a brass band composed of his colleagues. After college Raphael travelled the world and eventually settled on the island of Cyprus. He lived there for several years while developing his craft and ultimately matured into an all around producer, singer, and bandleader. Eventually he was discovered by Eve Efrat (owner of Public Relations firm Arieli) and Jason Dauman.

A group of three couples, old friends and all married on the same day in the same chapel, gathers at the Helliwell’s home to celebrate their silver anniversary. When they discover that they are not legally married, each couple initially reacts with proper Victorian horror – what will the neighbours think? – and all three couples find themselves re-evaluating their marriages; hovering closely over the proceedings is the Yorkshire Argus' alcohol-soaked photographer, keen to record the evening's events for posterity, and a wickedly destructive housekeeper who is hoping to use the couples' mortification to her own advantage. In the end, of course, everything turns out well, and the play ends on a happy note.
Directions: The theatre is located in the main street, Nikolaou Ellina and has no dedicated parking. However, there is permitted parking within a short distance near the Old Church and in the other direction at the Karate Club. STAGE ONE THEATRE, Nikolaou Ellina Street, Emba, Paphos.
